1) How did you first get started into photography
I got a little point and shoot camera when I got 16, so I began taking pictures on my 16th birthday.
2) Who and what are your influences
I'm influenced by all the amazing artists on deviantART. Examples are *lieveheersbeestje or *BabyJoan
3) Have you ever been published or received a DD? If so, what piece? (include the thumbnail if you want).
Yes, I have two.

4) What kind of education do you have in photography, or are you self-taught
I am completely self taught. I read some books and blogs, but that's all.
5) Have you ever worked in the field of photography
About half a year ago a componist bought two pictures for using it as a CD-cover. Since then I never got money for my passion.
6) Do you think it's important to have a philosophy
Yes, of course! I share the opinion that you always have to stay natural when you take pictures. When I force myself to take pictures, they do always look artificial.
7) What advice would you give to an upcoming photographer
Just keep going! Continue photographing. You will learn by doing. Maybe you have to take 10.000 pictures to see improvement, but it is worth it.
